William Kostlivy joined Atlas Corporation in 2021 and was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of both Atlas and Seaspan Corporation in May 2024. As CFO, he oversees the company's financial strategy, tax, financial reporting, financial planning, treasury, capital markets, and corporate development.
Previously, Mr. Kostlivy held several key positions within Atlas and Seaspan, including Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, and Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations.
With over 15 years of experience in strategic capital allocation and M&A execution, Mr. Kostlivy has a proven track record of creating shareholder value at several global public and private companies across multiple industries. This includes his work at Power Corporation of Canada, a management and holding company focused on financial services and diversified holdings in North America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Kostlivy began his career as a corporate and commercial lawyer.
Mr. Kostlivy holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Commerce from Western University.
